This is achieved through the use of methods of intensive plastic deformation of initial billets and progressive methods of blade aerodynamic surfaces finishing. The development of resource-saving technologies is carried out in two main directions. The first direction is the obtaining of the initial billets for the manufacture of gas turbine engines details with an increased level of mechanical properties by forming in them a nano- and a submicrocrystal structure by methods of intensive plastic deformation (twist extrusion). The second direction is the application of rational methods and modes at the stage of semi-finished products mashining. The use in the manufacturing process of blades of intensive plastic deformation methods at the procurement stage can significantly reduce the technological chain of finished products manufacture, increase their physical and mechanical properties and, consequently, significantly reduce the cost of manufacturing blades. It was established that the use of intensive plastic deformation (twist extrusion method) with the subsequent thermal treatment of blades' billet allows to provide a regulated structure and to increase the complex of operational characteristics of the compressor blades. For the implementation of the method, an analysis of the twist extrusion conditions was made which allowed to establish that the first variant involves deformation in the temperature range 940 ... 995°C. It was also found that the second, the most promising from the point of view of practical implementation in the conditions of small-sized blades of compressor GTE serial production - deformation in the field of cold deformation in the range of temperatures 300 ... 400°C.
