The №4-Bohrivska directional well with a target depth of 1120 m (a horizontal displacement = 228 m) and a bore length of 1155 m., is sunk to survey oil fields in the middle Menilite subformations of the II unit of the Pivnichno-Maidanskyi block of the Bohrivska zone with a P3ml2 target horizon, and is drilled by the Reliable Equipment and Well Maintenance LLC, hereafter referred to as the Contractor for the Differential-4 LLC, hereafter referred to as the Customer. Under the №4-Bohrivska well drilling, there were found out a set of major irregularities that have been done by the Contractor due to not meeting the requirements of regulations governing drilling operations, and the provisions of both contractual and design-and-engineering documentations for its construction. It resulted in a time increase for the well construction, negative effect on the bottomhole zone of a producing horizon and significant material cost overrun.
