The purpose of the work is to study the role of ultrasonoscopy in the early diagnosis of tuberculosis and other genesis diseases on the basis of a comparative analysis of its results with the data of radiography of the thoracic cavity and thoracoscopy. Methods of research - statistical and mathematical analysis of the results of clinical, laboratory, radial, thoracoscopic, pathomorphological, histological studies in patients with pleural effusion syndrome. It is suggested to use an algorithm for diagnosing pleural diseases, based on which the primary ultrasonoscopic study, identical to the diagnosis of diseases of the pleural cavity, since pleural effusion accompanies all pleural pathological processes. Timely diagnosis of pleural effusion syndrome prevents the complicated course of the disease by reducing the number and prevalence of pleural irradiation and connective tissue, decreases the number of such changes after treatment and in the distant period, prevents recurrence of pleurisy, the development of chronic pleurisy, pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis. The research results are implemented in the practical work of surgeons of the Thoracic Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital and the Sumy Regional Clinical Anti-TB Dispensary.
