The natural-historical prerequisites for the formation of dominant habitat types and their inherent groupings based on spore-pollen analysis are analyzed. During the reporting year, an appraisal of the supplemented scale of assessment of the generalized soil bioproductivity index for the assessment of the functional stability of dominant habitat types was carried out using the example of a model polygon in Podillia (NPP Severnoye Podillya). Prepared cartographic bases for displaying basic information on spatial structure, time dynamics and functional parameters of dominant habitat types. Based on the analysis of the parameters of the functional dominance of certain habitat types in the aspect of assessing the specific features of regional biodiversity, it is shown that the dominant types of habitats themselves determine the biogeographical, historical and ecological characteristics of the rare constituent of the region's biota. At the same time, it was revealed that the already ecological amplitude of the formation and functioning of a certain type of habitat and the original and specific abiotic conditions of its formation, the greater contribution it makes to the formation of a rare nucleus of phyto and zoobiota in the region.
