It was noted that the individual criteria for the creation of these objects in the status of protected tracts were not properly justified in any case. It is clearly traced that the only unambiguous criterion for the creation of these objects was the productivity of the stand and, in the main, the artificial origin of the plantations. The share of forest cultures on the territory of the analyzed objects of the nature reserve fund is 69.3%, and the average age is about 50 years. Under such conditions, the regime of the protected natural boundary is inadequate, since it assumes complete non-intervention in the regime of ecosystem functioning. This, in fact, is inadequate, since cultures of this age can not develop normally without special care. Based on the results of the analysis of inventory materials, as well as data obtained as a result of field research, recommendations have been developed for further optimization of the status of the objects of the nature reserve fund of the State Enterprise "Slavsky LH".
