The object of research is the processes of treatment of silumin with electric current under various modes. Methods of research - numerical and physical experiments, metallographic studies. Experimental comparison of the effects of CECT under different current modes has shown that they can be comparable for certain current parameters. However, the high-voltage treatment mode leads to a more homogeneous structure at the macro and micro levels. The effect of CECT is also comparable with the treatment using the modifying alloy ligature А1ТіВ, but after CECT a more homogeneous structure is provided. Recommendations for the design of the corresponding technological module, taking into account the scale factor, are presented. It shows an adequate ratio of the density of the total energy introduced into the melt and the energy density of the melt system. Due to the scale factor, the CECT parameters for the melt masses in the conditions of foundry production are determined on the basis of laboratory studies. It was proposed to use the system approach when designing the CECT process module. This assumes the system of signs of external energy impact.
