In the case of large field strengths, the diffusion process takes place quite quickly. This effect has been investigated experimentally, depending on the magnetic field, density of the plasma and microwave power. It has been demonstrated that when the excitation of a large amplitude fluctuation at the frequency of electron-cyclotron resonance in a magnetic trap, the energy of an external electromagnetic wave can be transmitted not only to electrons, but also to plasma ions. With increasing power of microwave oscillations, the frequency of low-frequency oscillations increases and there is an increase in the radial flow of ions. With an increase in the power input from 50 to 75 kW, the ion current increases by almost 2-fold. Such a process can provide efficient heating of plasma ions.
