Also, the current collector was modified using a titanium wire, which greatly simplified the construction and increased the stability of the current collector. To oxidize the impurities of aqueous solutions, a barrierless ozone generator with the following parameters was developed and manufactured: ozone productivity up to 0.6 g [O3]/h at the air flow through the system up to 16 m3/h and the power consumption from the electrical network up to 45 W for the complex water treatment system. The power supply unit CDS1-5M10 was modified for operation in the extended voltage range from 0 V to 4.5 V. All these improvements allow reducing ESR and increasing the efficiency of the CDI module. The developed CDI module allows reducing the inlet NaCl concentration from 2 g/l to 500 mg/l and from 600 mg/l to 100 mg/l.
