The research methods - Rutherford backscattering of accelerated ions of helium (for measuring of the thickness of the targets); the bombarding of the target with a beam of protons; registration of gamma-quanta from nuclear reactions. The previous work were analyzed in which the nuclear reactions of 51V(p, ) 52Cr and 58Ni (p, ) 59Cu were studied. It follows, from these works, that the gamma line at energy 1434 keV is the best choice for the elemental analysis of vanadium using the PIGE technique. Accordingly for the determination of nickel the best choice is a gamma-line at energy 914 keV.In this paper measurements were made of the differential cross-section of generation of gamma quanta with an energy of 1434 keV from the reaction of 51V(p, ) 52Cr in the energy range of 1.1…2.2 MeV . The thickness of target from vanadium with natural isotope composition was 5.5 1017 at. V/cm2 . The measurements of the gamma-quanta generation cross-section with energy of 914 keV from the reaction 58Ni (p, ) 59Cu were made in the energy range of 0.94…2.85 MeV. The thickness of target from nickel, enriched with the isotope 58Ni up to the relative content of 0.986, was 1.35 1018 at.Ni/cm2.The results obtained (in particular, the resonance structure of energy dependences for excitation functions) are in agreement with the data of other authors.
