Subject of research: morphofunctional bases of adaptation processes in the structures of the duodenum, small intestine, liver, heart and their vessels after resection of different volumes of the liver. The purpose of the work is to establish the patterns of remodeling of the walls of the duodenum, small intestine, liver, heart and their vessels in the channel during prolonged post-junctional portal hypertension. Methods of research - morphological, morphometric, immunological, biochemical, statistical. Regularities of remodeling of the wall of the duodenum, small intestine, liver, chambers of the heart, their vascular bed with prolonged post-junctional portal hypertension were studied in a complex of morphological (histology, histochemistry, injection, electron microscopy, morphometric) and statistical methods. It was determined that prolonged post-reactive portal hypertension, caused by resection of more than 40% of the volume of liver parenchyma, resulted in pronounced morphological rearrangement of the structures of the duodenum, small intestines, arteries of medium and small caliber, as well as vessels of the microhemocirculatory bed. In the experimental data, the thickness of the mucous, muscular and serous membranes and the submucosal basis of the walls of the duodenal, empty and iliac gut was unevenly disproportionate, resulting in significant disturbances in the relations between the spatial characteristics of the duodenum and the indicated parts of the small intestine and the dysfunctions of the organs examined. Significant structural rearrangements also undergo arteries of the duodenal, thin and iliac gut that are characterized by narrowing their lumen, increasing the thickness of the mediums, the Wogenworth index, increasing the relative volume of damaged endothelial cells, endothelial dysfunction, worsening blood supply to the duodenal ulcer, small intestine, dystrophic, non-fibrotic epithelial cell changes, endothelial cells, stromal structures, infiltration and sclerosis. Structural changes in these experimental conditions were also observed in the liver. They experienced marked remodeling in the simulated pathological conditions of the heart chamber. Their structural reconstruction was characterized by an uneven, disproportional increase in the mass of the ventricles, atrium, their expansion, thickening of the wall, arteries, narrowing of their lumen, hypertrophy of the venous channel, cells of dystrophic, non-fibrotic, and sclerotic processes. Morphological changes dominated the left ventricle. In the duodenal, empty, ileum, liver, and cardiac muscle of experimental animals, during prolonged post-reactive portal hypertension, polymorphism of adaptive-compensatory processes is found, which depends on intra-and extraestinal factors.
