The purpose of the research: to determine the modern geo-ecological problems of the soils of the river Molochnaya basin and to suggest ways of their solution. Research methods. The theoretical and methodological basis of the work is the complex use of the principles of sci-ence, the system approach, which led to the choice of research methods: analysis and synthesis of literary sources on the subject of research, historical, analytical, statistical, systemic, structural, cartographic, method of environmental forecasting. Scientific novelty. Proceeding from the set theoretical and practical tasks, we made: - for the first time a list of local anthropogenic factors of pollution in the basin of the Molochnaya River was made; - the structure of the land fund of the Molochnaya river basin was determined and problems of agricultural manage-ment of natural resources within its borders were identified. - systematic geoecological problems of the soils of the Molochna river basin, taking into account both natural and an-thropogenic factors; - Using the legal basis and the results of scientific research, the proposed: o Measures to preserve the soil and increase the productivity of the agrolandscapes of the Molochna river basin; o ways to optimize the geoecological state of agricultural lands of the Molochna river basin. Practical value of work. The materials of the research can be used by ecological services and farms of the research ar-ea in developing measures for improving the geoecological state of soils. The study of the geomorphology of the river valleys of the Molochnaya river basin is of great practical importance in planning work on the construction of hydropower structures, irrigation canals, routes, mineral exploration, and ration-al use of land for agricultural land. In addition, the study of river valleys has an important theoretical value, it allows you to restore the history of the formation of the hydrological grid. The results of the research can be used by teachers and students of the natural sciences of higher educational institu-tions when teaching normative and special courses.
