The regularities of the geological structure of the deposit are established. In areas promising for open coal mining, the morphology and structure of coal seams, their material composition, heat-engineering properties, grades and types of coal have been studied, and the lower limit of occurrence of weathered coal has been determined. According to the results of mining, geological, technical and economic assessment of the licensed area, the conditional parameters for the calculation of brown coal reserves at the Hungarian field are determined.
