Due to various reasons, asynchronous motors fail and come into repair. As a research, a test complex for the diagnosis of AM in post-repair tests with an asynchronous generator as a source of polyharmonic power was developed. The complex allows to realize the following modes of testing: the effect on loss of asymmetry of currents, the level of harmonics of voltage, current and idle losses; determination of current and losses of short circuit, initial starting torque and initial start-up current; heating test; determination of performance characteristics, efficiency factor, power factor and slip; determination of the torque curve, the values of the maximum and minimum torques.
