The results of the long-term monitoring of the status of the natural complexes of the Black Sea Biosphere Reserve are relevant and important for solving the issues of transformation of the natural environment under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors and can be used for long-term forecasts of the state of the environment, changes in biodiversity in the south of Ukraine. They are in demand in solving the issues of the ecological state of the region and the development of programs of urgent environmental protection measures to ensure the environmentally safe habitat of the population and the suspension of degradation of natural resources, as well as to justify the creation of new natural and protected sites at local and state level.
