The purpose of the work is to develop a methodology for studying the features of photomontage and editing of digital images using the method of analyzing the entropy of their noise and software products for the automation of the research of mounting features in digital images. Theoretical and practical results - a method for researching digital images using the method of analyzing the entropy of their noise is developed, which allows to identify signs of photomontage and editing of distortions of their noise background. Novelty - for the first time a technique for detecting signs of photomontage and image editing was developed for the first time based on the analysis of noise entropy, their classification, and also a software product was developed for implementation of the research methodology. Effectiveness of implementation - the results can be used to solve the tasks of forensic examination of video, audio recordings of digital images, which will allow experts to fully address the issues raised, increase the argumentation and evidence of the findings.
