In the process of scientific work, general scientific and special research methods were used. The general scientific methods of research used in solving the problems raised: the hypothesis - to establish the assumption of a possible positive impact on the agro-ecological state of the soil and the stability of agroecosystems of legumes perennial herbs; experiment - for laying and conducting field and laboratory research in controlled conditions for the knowledge of the hypothesis; observation - for the establishment of visual changes in the state of agroecosystems; analysis - for the dismemberment of the object of research into component parts for a more detailed study; synthesis - for combining the analyzed parts of the object of research into a single whole for more complete conclusions and generalizations; induction - for judging from facts to specific conclusions; deduction - for the formulation of partial and isolated conclusions on the basis of analysis of general provisions and facts; abstraction - for the thoughtful allocation of the main object of research, its most significant connections; specification - for the transition from abstract to concrete; analogy - for the transfer of known knowledge to other, yet unknown, but similar to the known; generalization - for the apparent transition from individual facts, phenomena and processes to identification. Special methods of research used in solving the problems raised: laboratory method - for the analysis of biochemical processes in plants, study of physical, chemical and microbiological properties of the soil; field method - for conducting field experiments and experiments with plants, soil, agroecosystems; vegetative-sex method - to determine the dynamics of the distribution of root systems of legumes perennial grasses in the soil.
