The laboratory technology of production the magnesium based negative electrode is developed. The electrochemical processes, which took place on magnesium electrodes in non-aqueous electrolytes, were investigated by methods of galvanostatic discharge and impedance. The composition of non-aqueous electrolyte was optimized. The ionic conductivity of electrolytes in the range of temperatures from -20 to +70 °C was determined, electrochemical stability of those in contact with electrode materials was investigated. The electronic conductivity of powdered components of electrode materials is measured. The block diagram of the information-measuring system of the correlation of the magnesium power source and the operational parameters of the innovative devices is developed.
