The subject is the theoretical, methodological and practical foundations for the formation of the national model of sustainable development of Ukraine under conditions of global transformations. The aim is to supplement the theoretical, methodological foundations for the formation and development of principled approaches to the construction of a national model of sustainable development in the conditions of global transformations. Factors of increasing the competitiveness of enterprises are presented and analyzed; ways of improving mechanisms for increasing the competitiveness of enterprises are proposed; specificity of institutional changes in conditions of development of market relations in the national economy is revealed; theoretical and methodological foundations of institutional transformations in the conditions of the development of market relations in the national economy are supplemented; branch and regional features of competitiveness in the conditions of globalization are revealed.
