The research aim is to reduce the material expenditure and labor intensity of dock construction by decreasing the number of pontoon bulkheads. As for research techniques, the calculation analysis has been based on the finite element method. The calculation complex utilizes a variety of the finite element method, namely, the displacement method. The design and technology of construction of a composite frameless dock pontoon has been developed. Installation of transverse bulkheads between the inner sides, one through each four spaces (i.e. 3 meters), as well as the absence of frames (cross ribs), floor plates and beams in concrete towers, allows reducing the material consumption and labor intensity of dock construction. There has been conducted a study of the stress-strain state of reinforced concrete slabs of a composite dock's pontoon with a reduced number of bulkheads. Calculation of the bend of the well deck and bottom slabs of the pontoon employs a more precise computational model, which takes into account the work of the reinforcement in both directions. It allows assessing the structure's strength more accurately and providing recommendations for its design in terms of material consumption and optimal dimensions. Implementation of the developed design and technology of construction of a composite frameless dock pontoon makes it possible to expand the technological capabilities of dock construction. Considering that the structure of concrete ceilings and floors perceives a several times higher moment of resistance than that of steel, it is possible to increase the spacing and put fewer supporting bulkheads. Hence, this will reduce the material expenditure and labor intensity of dock construction. Product Description popup.authors К.В. Кириченко popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
