The methodical approach to implementing the system of process-oriented budgeting in the activity of the stevedoring company as an instrument of the managerial component of economic security by developing a system of budgets of the stevedoring company, taking into account the specifics of its business processes, has been developed. The methodical approach to the estimation of indicators of financial and economic safety of enterprises of the maritime industry is proposed, in which the range of values ??of the level of security is divided into separate levels. The results of the research work can be introduced into the practice of the enterprises of the maritime industry for the improvement of the process of management of financial and economic security and the adoption of management decisions, which is an indispensable condition for the stable functioning of both individual enterprises and industry in general.
