The irregularity of load distribution along the tooth length in the open gearing of tumbling mill in case of incomplete teeth contact, stiffness of gear mesh, dynamical processes in the mechanical system of gear drive and stress state of crossmember of hydraulic press are investigated. Recommendations for calculation technique of dynamics and strength of the mechanical systems of tumbling mills are developed.
