Active forms of oxygen play an important role in the signal transduction of the protective reactions, in particular, hydrogen peroxide is involved in the reactions of the plant organism on the gravity change as one of the stress-reaction inducers (Hausmann et al., 2014). The dependence of the amount of hydrogen peroxide (as an inductor of the antioxidant protective system) on the stages of ontogenesis and duration of clinorotation and the higher sensitivity of the shoots to the changed gravity during the formation of the sexual organs was revealed. Men's gametangium are more sensitive to changes gravity than women's. The higher intensity of oxidative reactions and the sensitivity to gravity at the stage of formation of gametangium, as compared to sterile plants, have been determined. The obtained results are an important complement to ascertaining the participation of gravity in the life strategy of bryophytes and the biology of development in general. The analysis of the quantitative composition of pigments and peculiarities of photosynthesis of Bryum argenteum fertile plants shows the dependence of the processes of gametangium formation on the energy supply of cells and the higher sensitivity of male plants to change gravity.
