The object of research is the magnetic actuator of a spacecraft using permanent magnets. Methods of research - mathematical and vector analysis, celestial mechanics, system analysis. The mathematical model of the interaction of the magnetic field of a spacecraft with a magnetic actuator with the environment is developed, which allows to determine the strength of the magnetic interaction for different characteristics of magnetic materials. The possibility of using permanent magnets in magnetic actuators of spacecrafts to create additional traction in different conditions of outer space is analyzed. Calculations of additional traction created due to the interaction of permanent magnets with the environment, on Low Earth's Orbits (height from 600 km to 1000 km) and around Lunar orbits are carried out. The most optimal limits and variants of magnetic actuators with permanent magnets are chosen. The mathematical model of the perturbed orbital motion of a spacecraft with magnetic drive is developed, which allows us to investigate the orbital motion of a spacecraft with a magnetic drive. Based on the analysis of the use of permanent magnets, constructive schemes of magnetic devices of spacecraft for various applications were developed. The results of the work, obtained at this stage, will be used in the study of the motion of a spacecraft with a magnetic drive.
