The aim of research is to develop a scientifically grounded hunting management system of joint enterprise Hunting and Fishing Farm of Oleksandrivska district organization of Ukrainian Hunting and Fishing Association to carry out works on the arrangement of hunting grounds and the drafting of the Project for organization and development of a hunting farm, which defines scientifically based ways of managing a hunting farm, means and facilities for solving the issues of rational use the hunting grounds are faced with, but also of protection, exploitation and reproduction of a hunting fund. Methods of research - typology method; bonitation method; accounting of hunting animals; statistical data analysis. During our limited time of managing a hunting farm, works were carried out on the typology and bonitation (appraisal) of hunting grounds, but also the state of the hunting fauna and its reproduction potential were determined. The Project for the organization and development of a hunting farm was drafted and recommendations were given on the rational use of hunting grounds and main types of hunting animals. We have established that the management of a hunting farm in the given region during the period under study possesses its own set of peculiarities compared with the other parts of Ukraine. We have found that the prohibition of hunting across the territory of the Donetsk region during the period of the Anti-Terrorist Operation has some positive effects, namely the growth in the number of main types of hunting animals, and some negative effects also, in particular, the aggravation of the epidemiological situation, the impossibility of carrying out operational measures in the hunting industry and the increase in the number of cases of poaching. The results of our study were integrated into the production cycle of joint enterprise Hunting and Fishing Farm of Oleksandrivska district organization of Ukrainian Hunting and Fishing Association.
