The technological regimes for the formation of graded bandgap layers with the predetermined spatial (coordinate) distribution of the composition have been established. The physical and chemical technology bases of the deposition of Cd1-xMnxTe semiconductor films with variable composition by the vapor phase method have been improved and developed. The method of Ni, Au ohmic contacts formation to films based on CdTe using an intermediate ultra-thin layer of Cu and deposition of a protective coating is worked out. Structural, electrophysical and optoelectric properties of thin films, heterostructures are investigated. Experimental samples of photovoltaic converters on the basis of A2B6 structures were fabricated.
