The goal is to form, improve and maintain a viable state of genetic collections by enriching them with valuable sources and donors of economic and biological attributes. Methods of research: introduction, field, laboratory, biochemical, biometric. The gene pool has 860 samples, 68% of them are unique. 15 samples were added to the gene pool collection. More than 700 varieties - sources of valuable attributes, 33 varieties-samples that are the sources of a complex of attributes, have been allocated. 30 varieties-samples were used in creation of new sweet and sour cherry, apricot varieties. The certificates of registration for 27 varieties and attribute collections of peaches and apples were obtained. This work is necessary to preserve the genetic resources of fruit crops that are the national property of Ukraine.
