It was shown that these 2,6-heptandiones are efficient reagents for the synthesis of new types of fluorine-containing carbocyclic and heterocyclic compounds - derivatives of 3,5-difluoro-2,6-dioxo-4-phenylcyclohexanes and 2-oksa-6-azabicyclo[2,2,2]-octan-7-carboxilates.The obtained compounds were sent to the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis (Riga) for biological activity tests.
