In this paper, a study was made of equipment for cleaning and transporting water, aggregates for the production of biogas, and an analysis was made of the effect of burnt rock heaps on the quality of building materials. The influence of various technological factors on the operation of equipment, the reliability of equipment using the failure tree method has been analyzed. A set of experimental studies was carried out, including the determination of the granulometric composition of the burning rock heaps, its bulk density, water absorption coefficient and optical measurement measurements of surfaces. The simulation of the collision of particles with working surfaces during the application of protective coatings was carried out. The result of the work is scientifically based ways to improve the efficiency and reliability of the above equipment.
