It was found that the behavior of electrical conductivity reflects complex mechanisms of simultaneous formation and dissociation of metal compounds. It was shown that metal melts can undergo a number of structural transformations from the initial microheterogeneous state immediately after melting into the state of the real solution. The temperature dependences of the electrical conductivity and the thermal conductivity of the melts are nonlinear, due to the influence of different behavior of the electrical conductivity of pure Mg and Zn in the liquid state. The value of the thermal conductivity and its temperature dependence indicate the predominance of electronic heat transfer and demonstrate strong degeneracy of the electron gas. The study of the effect of monodisperse bimetallic nanoparticles CoPd on the electrical conductivity of magnesium alloys in a liquid state over a wide temperature range above the melting point has shown that the addition of even a small amount of CoPd nanoparticles essentially affects the electrical properties of Mg in the liquid state.
