Production by ultrafast quenching (melt-spinning) and hydrogen processing " popup.stage_title Head Bovda O. M., Registration Date 27-12-2018 Organization National Science Center "Kharkiv Institute of Physics & Technology" popup.description2 Object of research: precision magnetic materials Alnico. A highly coercive state is achieved as a result of the formation of single-domain nanocrystalline precipitation of the strong-magnetic phase ?1 in the weakly magnetic matrix ?2. Purpose: the study of the complex influence of hydrogen processing of the initial components, the conditions of pressing, quenching and thermomagnetic treatment, on the structure and magnetic properties of cast and sintered compacta of magnetic dispersion-hardening alloys. The most traditional ways of manufacturing Magnets Alnico include methods of casting and powder metallurgy. Despite the many years of world-leading Alnico Magnet production, there is no single, universal technological scheme: each individual product is manufactured almost ad hoc. One of the ways to increase the volume fraction of the ?1 phase fallout and its arrangement is to increase the density of samples by means of all-round compression at elevated temperatures (112 MPa at T = 1150 0C).In this case, the reduction of porosity of powder samples is 1.8 times, and an increase in magnetic flux from 2 to 5%. According to electronic microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis, a correlation between the magnetic parameters and crystallographic orientation of the matrix phase is established in accordance with the direction of the crystallographic texture.
