Based on the basic principles of the theory of interaction of coherent electromagnetic radiation with matter, physical phenomena of recognition and measurement of quantum energy of a laser range finder with object detection were studied, the principle scheme of electronic detector of a quantum rangefinder was developed, the work of the range recorder scheme was modeled.
