Special attention is paid to the transformation processes of the forest biodiversity of the reserve, the impact of introduced species on natural autochthonous groups is analyzed, and their negative impact on the reforestation is revealed. A study of biorinomics in 2017 revealed 19 localities of rare plants on the territory of the biosphere reserve, 13 species of which are listed in Red Book of Ukraine. The causes of changes in the abundance of individual species and groups of the fauna are analyzed, and the results of monitoring of rare species of the fauna are presented. Irregular species of the fauna - Ficedula parva, whose numbers have slightly increased, are registered for the Ukrainian part of Roztochya; as well as Certhia brachydactyla and Regulus regulus, which are nesting in the reserve irregularly. The report contains the developed environmental protection measures for the conservation of rare bird species.
