Thus, in conditionally normal tissue, the level of methylated DNA was higher than in patients with endometrial cancer, which is associated with the hypomethylation of the TNFa gene in endometrial cancer. Methylation of LEP and INFg gene promoters in endometrial cancer tissue samples, in comparison with conditionally normal endometrial tissue samples, was not significantly different.
