A study of the number of people with disabilities due to CKD, examined at MSEC in 2013-2015; studied the current state of primary and accumulated disability. In the structure of primary disability due to CKD, the third group of disability prevails, the proportion of which decreases with age due to more severe groups of disability. Clinical and functional features in kidney diseases that lead to disability are: progressive disorders of the nitrogenous kidney function, arterial hypertension, development of heart failure, and psychological maladjustment. The need of people with disabilities due to kidney disease in various types of rehabilitation is differentiated: more than half need inpatient rehabilitation treatment and psychotherapeutic correction, the majority need outpatient rehabilitation treatment, more than half need rational employment; among the measures of social rehabilitation, the greatest need is noted in social services. According to the results of the study, a system has been developed to provide medical and social assistance to people with disabilities as a result of CKD with the definition of effective control over its implementation, taking into account the level of rehabilitation potential and the rehabilitation prognosis.
