The identification of the parameters of the classical and fractional-differential one-dimensional models of moisture transfer, stated in terms of water head, was performed. Verification of moisture transfer models was carried out by modelling the change in soil moisture. Software implementation of the algorithms in the QGIS environment is carried out.
