For the regeneration of an absorbent solution, that is, the conversion of a quinhydrone catalyst from a reducing to an oxide form, an electrochemical method is proposed. Voltammetry method studied the electrochemical behavior of quinhydrone absorbing solution. The influence of the conditions of electrolysis of the solution of the quinhydrone catalyst on the output of its oxide form is determined. A technological scheme for the purification of fuel gases from hydrogen sulfide with electrochemical regeneration of quinhydrone absorbent solution has been developed.
