The features of the structure, thermomechanical and antimicrobial properties of the obtained polymer systems are investigated. It is shown that the thermochemical reduction of Ag+ ions in polyelectrolyte-metallic complexes (the films are heated to a temperature of 100 °C and above) also leads to the formation of silver-containing nanocomposites. It was shown that during the chemical reduction of Cu2+ ions nanocomposites of the Cu/Cu2O core-shell type are formed, while the structural of the Cu metal phase is fully realized at a molar ratio of BH4-: Cu2+ = 6 and a reduction time of 2 hours. It was found that during thermochemical reduction of Cu2+ ions the optimum parameters are temperature 170 °С and time 30 minutes. It has been established that nanocomposite polymer films with nanoparticles of silver obtained by thermochemical method exhibit better antimicrobial activity than those obtained by chemical reduction methods in relation to model gram-positive (S. aureus) and gram-negative (E. coli) microorganisms.
