Their chemical ability was investigated in reaction with nucleophiles. We examined the dependence of the ratio of Z/E- isomers on the solvent nature and its polarity. The new synthetic methods of fluoro-containing analogs of GABA at position (such as CF3, CF2CF2H); CF3- -ОН) analogs of Pregabalin (Lyrica® ) were developed in racemic and enantiopure forms. The synthesized fluoro-containing analogs of GABA were investigated for its influence on neurotransmission in CNS.
