These are mainly countries in Asia (15 countries), Central and South America (8), Eastern Europe (3) and Africa. The most prosperous for the CSF are the territories of North America and Europe (22 countries are officially recognized as being free of the CSF), Australia. In Ukraine, the epizootic situation on CSF is relatively stable; over the past 7 years, only one CSF outbreak among wild pigs has been identified, but there is a high risk of recurrence of the disease epizootics. The concept of eradication of classical swine fever from Ukraine has been developed.
