Object of research: hybrid carbon-mineral composite sorbents on the basis of porous carbon filled with mineral synthetic and natural fillers. Methods of research: At this stage of the project, the methods of X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy, Raman scattering spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, thermosorbent mass spectrometry, magnetometry and low-temperature adsorption / desorption of nitrogen were studied, morphological, texture and structural-adsorption characteristics of carbon-mineral nanocomposites were investigated. The composites are synthesized by pyrolysis of organic precursors based on synthetic substances (resorcinol-formaldehyde resin) and biopolymer materials (wood sawdust) with mineral fillers. The influence of the synthesis conditions and the nature of mineral components on the morphological and structural-adsorption characteristics of carbon-mineral sorbents has been researched and generalized.
