The purpose of the study is increase of energy efficiency of power supply systems with distributed generation; solving problems of electromagnetic compatibility of renewable energy sources. To achieve the goal, analytical methods of the spectral-correlation theory of random processes, simulation methods using the Matlab software package, as well as experimental studies were used. Experimental research were conducted using Fluke 1760 power quality analyzers. The analysis of the impact of wind power installations on the electrical power quality in electrical networks with distributed generation was completed depending on the type of wind turbine, the corresponding mathematical apparatus was developed. The scientific novelty consists in determining the main characteristics of a turbulent wind flow in the form of its correlation function. The practical value of the developed simulation model of wind power plant is the ability to perform power quality research and develop a universal simulation model Smart Grid network with distributed generation.
