The aim of the work is to systematize natural and anthropogenic factors to determine the components of the water management balance of the sub-basins of the Upper Dnepr, the Middle Dnieper and the basin of the Black Sea rivers. The main tasks that will be solved during the implementation of this development are the following: compilation of settlement balance schemes of the sub-basins of the Upper Dnepr, the Middle Dnieper and the basin of the Black Sea regions corresponding to the new water management zoning of the territory of Ukraine; calculation of the amount of water resources in the settlement areas limiting water management areas (statistical parameters, equipped with runoff quantities, dynamics of water changes) within the sub-basins of the Upper Dnepr, the Middle Dnieper and the basin of the Black Sea rivers; the choice of limiting periods and assessment of their water content for each water management sub-basin of the Upper Dnepr, the Middle Dnieper and the basin of the Black Sea; definition of the components of balance within each water management sub-basin of the Upper Dnepr, the Middle Dnieper and the basin of the Black Sea rivers; providing recommendations on the practical definition of the components of the water balance.
