The results of performed works are as follows: – a modified annual fuel cycle has been developed with the amount of FAs in the peripheral row reduced to 12; – it has been shown that neutronic parameters of the modified fuel cycle allow its implementation without revision of the current safety analysis; – an annual four-year fuel cycle with reduced radial neutron leakage has been developed in which fresh fuel assemblies are not inserted in the core peripheral row; – it has been shown that neutronic parameters of the annual four-year fuel cycle with reduced radial neutron leakage allow its implementation subject to changes being made of the current peaking factor limitations for FRs and FAs in the core; –an annual five-year fuel cycle with reduced radial neutron leakage has been developed in which fresh fuel assemblies are not inserted in the core peripheral row; – it has been shown that neutronic parameters of the annual five-year fuel cycle with reduced radial neutron leakage allow its implementation subject to changes being made of the current peaking factor limitations for FRs and FAs in the core and substantiation of the possibility of using the FA during 5 cycles; –decay heat in the core from burned fuel assemblies of all types for all developed fuel cycles has been calculated; – it has been demonstrated that implementation of the developed fuel cycles will reduce radiation load on reactor internals and reactor vessel, as well as reduce natural uranium consumption per unit of electricity generated.   Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
