Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology popup.description2 The association of expression of the oncogenic (miR-21 and -10b) and oncosuppressive (microRNA -200b and -320a) microRNA in cancer cells with clinical and morphological characteristics of the tumor process was analyzed on the clinical material of patients with breast cancer, the. The decrease in the levels of oncosuppressive miR-200b, -320a was detected in patients with stage II breast cancer compared to patients with stage I of breast cancer (r = -0.45 and r = -0.69). Low expressions of oncosuppressive miR-200b and 320a and high expression of oncogenic miR-10b (r = -0.65, r = -0.58, r = 0.79, respectively) were detected in tumors of patients with metastases in the lymph nodes. High degree of differentiation and low proliferative activity (Ki-67) of BC correlated with inhibition of expression of oncogenic miR-10b and activation of expression of oncosuppressive miR-200b and -320a (r = -0.52, r = 0.57 and r = 0, 59, respectively). A characteristic feature of the basal breast cancer subtype is the decrease in the level of miR-21 and the increase of the level of miR-200b and 320a in tumor cells. A direct correlation between the expression of miR-200b, -320a and the inverse relationship between the levels of miR-21 and the presence of estrogen receptors in breast cancer tissue (r = 0.48, r = 0.59 and r = -0.67, respectivel ) were established. Also, the relation of miR-21, -10b, -320a and -200b expression with the parameters of non-recurring survival in patients (r = 0.54, r = 0.62, r = -0.52 and r = -0.57, in accordance) was found.
