The purpose of the scientific research is to develop ways of improvement of fuel economy and environmental performance of vehicle engines by improving feed system and regulating system and rational usage of traditional and alternative fuels. The first section presents the results of calculation and experimental studies to determine the rational methods of starting and warming gasoline engines at low ambient temperatures. The second section presents the results of studies to determine the usage of alternative fuels for the power supply of gas engines, in particular bioethanol as additives to gasoline. The third section presents the results of studies of power systems and regulation system of gas engines.
