The goal is to explore the prospects for the use of multi-walled carbon nanotubes for targeted delivery of anticancer drugs. The research methods are histological, cyto-morphological, microscopic, hematological. As a result of the implementation of stage IV of research work, it was found that the introduction of CNT in doses of 50.0 and 500.0 ?g/kg did not cause a pronounced toxic effect on the organs of the gastrointestinal tract (liver, intestine, stomach) of experimental animals in conditions of medium - urgent experiment. With the introduction of CNT-Doc, tissue reorganization of the liver is determined, which is characterized by two main factors of pathogenesis: the cytotoxic effect of doxorubicin and its metabolites on the cells of this organ, primarily hepatocytes, and pronounced hemodynamic disturbances. Structural toxic changes were observed in animals in group 5 (500.0 ?g / kg body weight). Severe hyperplasia of Kupffer cells in sinusoidal lumens of the liver was observed in groups 4 and 5. Systematic administration of CNTox (groups 2 and 3) did not have significant toxic effects on the hematological system of animals. The hypertrophy of the lymphoid tissue in the organs of the gastrointestinal system is due, on the one hand, to a nonspecific immune system response to an increase in the secretory activity of the glandular epithelium, and, secondly, it is a reaction of lymphocytes to the interaction of epithelial cells with effector immunocytes. The introduction of CNT-Dock and pure Doxorubicin have a toxic effect on the hematopoietic system of animals, which is expressed in dose-dependent myelosuppression, leukopenia and neutropenia.
