It is established that increasing the size of the dipole significantly improves many parameters of this active antenna, including its sensitivity for radio observations of the Universe in the frequency band 1-40 MHz. Using ground-based observations near the ionospheric cutoff frequency, the effectiveness of future solar observations with a similar radio astronomical instrument on the farside of the Moon is proved.
