Formed technical requirements for the structure and components of a prototype satellite communication terminal. Design documentation has been prepared for the VSAT terminal, a prototype of the VSAT satellite communication terminal has been manufactured and installed, and preliminary tests have been carried out on individual nodes of the terminal. Telecommunication equipment of the terminal is located inside the protective dome. The protective dome has an axisymmetric shape and contains a sector with an angular size of 90 degrees. Made of radio transparent material to ensure minimal signal loss. The rest of the surface of the dome is made of a material with large losses. As part of the work carried out the final tests of the prototype made satellite communication terminal.
