The composition, taxonomic structure and level of endemism of the cave springtails of the Ukrainian Carpathians, Podillya-Bukovina, the Mountain Crimea and the Western Caucasus have been established. Evidences of rapid evolution, high specialization and intensive speciation of troglobiont springtails obtained. Computer interactive guides of the Arrhopalitidae of the world's fauna have been elaborated and an original scale of troglomorphism and classification of life forms of troglobiont springtails have been proposed. According to modern conception of taxonomy available data on distribution, ecology and conservation status of all known species of terrestrial molluscs of Ukraine has been assessed. The ability of some types of copepods of the Black Sea to switch the metabolism from the stenotermal to the eurythermal type experimentally proved what indicates their wide energy plasticity. Using the molecular-genetic methods it was shown that nematodes which parasitize in amphibians are represent the distinct evolutionary lines separated from parasites of fish and freshwater turtles. The advantages of multidimensional combinational typing of life forms of parasitic organisms before classical hierarchical classifications are grounded.
