Laboratory facilities for the production of iron ore concentrates from highly dispersed iron ore raw materials were created, namely, laboratory facilities that allow the transformation of weakly magnetic minerals to highly magnetic magnetite with subsequent separation of the ore and non-metallic component. The regularities of phase transformations of highly dispersed iron ores in the gas and water media (under the influence of microwave radiation) and the optimal regimes of such transformations were determined. It was shown that microwave radiation stimulates the processes of transformations of weakly magnetic minerals (hematite, goethite) into highly magnetic magnetite, while the magnetization of the samples is significantly increased. A magnetic separation of highly dispersed raw material was held using developed facilityand it was shown that the concentration of iron in the concentrate is more than 69w%. The novelty of the results obtained is that the separation of the ore and non-metallic component occurs by means of different polar pulses of the magnetic field, separated by intervals of time, at which the field is equal to zero.
